The travel-planning mess

Right now, your trip lives in a dozen places

Tickets in email. Hotel in Booking. A restaurant in a screenshot. Ideas buried in a group chat. By the time the trip starts, you’re digging through six apps to find one confirmation.

The fix

One travel inbox for everything

RoamDrop isn’t another blank itinerary to fill in. It’s a calm place to drop the travel stuff you already have — and turn it into a trip you can actually follow.

Drop anything

Screenshots, PDFs, tickets, links and notes go straight into your Travel Inbox.

Sort it later

Keep loose ideas in the inbox and move them onto days when the plan gets clearer.

Build your days

A simple board for each day of the trip — drag items where they belong.

Keep documents close

Bookings, tickets and notes stay attached to the right card, ready on the day.

Travel with less chaos

Your whole trip in one place — and it opens offline while you’re there.

Stay in control

Recognition runs on your device. You can edit or type anything by hand.

How it works

Three steps, from chaos to a clear plan

1

Drop travel items

Share a screenshot from any app, paste a link, add a PDF or jot a note. RoamDrop reads the details — dates, times, places, prices — on your device, so you don’t retype them.

2

Organize by day

Everything lands in your Travel Inbox first. Drag cards onto the right day as your plan takes shape — no need to get it perfect up front.

3

Open everything during the trip

On the day, your bookings, tickets, documents and notes are right where you expect them — and available offline, no signal required.

What you can do today

Built for travel, not a generic board

Every feature below works in the iPhone app today. What’s planned next is clearly marked “Coming soon.”

Travel Inbox + day-by-day board

Collect first, organize later. Drop ideas and bookings into one inbox, then drag them onto trip days. Reorder cards within a day to match how you’ll actually move.

  • Travel Inbox for undated ideas and confirmations
  • A board for each day of the trip
  • Drag & drop between days, reorder within a day
  • Card types for stays, flights, food, tours, places, transport and notes

Turns screenshots, PDFs and links into cards

Save a screenshot of a ticket or booking and RoamDrop helps pull out the date, time, place and price. Local recognition handles what it can on your iPhone; future Smart Import will use Smart Drops only when cloud AI is needed for the harder work.

  • Local text recognition from images and PDFs where possible
  • Link previews with title and image
  • A quick review step so you confirm before it’s saved
  • Manual planning stays free; Smart Drops are for optional AI help

Documents, sharing and export — done

Keep every reservation and document with the day it belongs to, and hand the whole plan to a travel companion as a clean PDF.

  • Attach photos, files and links to any card
  • Share into RoamDrop from other apps with the iOS share sheet
  • Export your trip as a PDF to share with anyone
  • Available in English, German, Spanish and Russian

Who it’s for

For the person who plans the whole trip

Whether you’re away for a weekend or crossing borders, RoamDrop keeps the plan calm and in one place.

Weekend trips

Drop two flights, a hotel and a dinner idea — and you’re basically planned. No spreadsheet needed.

Family travel

One parent keeps logistics, the kids’ “must-do” ideas live in the inbox until they get a day.

Road trips

Stops, stays and reservations in order, day by day — and it still works where there’s no signal.

Multi-city trips

Keep each leg clear: which city, which day, which booking — without losing the connections.

Document-heavy trips

Visas, insurance, boarding passes and confirmations stored with the trip they belong to.

Still-deciding trips

Not sure yet? Collect everything in the inbox now and decide the days later.

Why not just use what you have?

Great tools — just not built for a trip

Notes, Trello, Docs and ChatGPT are genuinely useful. They’re just not designed to turn the travel stuff you already collect into a dated plan. RoamDrop is.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Is RoamDrop available on iPhone?

RoamDrop is an iPhone app, coming soon to the App Store. Join early access above and we’ll let you know the moment it’s live.

Can I use it before the trip?

Yes — that’s the point. RoamDrop is built for the messy early phase: drop ideas, links and bookings as soon as you start thinking about a trip, then sort them into days whenever you’re ready.

Can I store tickets and bookings?

Yes. Screenshots, PDFs, booking confirmations, tickets, links and notes all attach to your trip and stay together, ready for the day you need them.

Does it replace Booking or Google Maps?

No. Keep booking and navigating where you do today. RoamDrop sits on top and pulls the pieces together into one organized, day-by-day trip.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Your trip is stored on your device, so it opens without a signal — useful exactly when you’re abroad and data is spotty.

Is AI required?

No. You can always type or edit anything by hand, and RoamDrop uses local recognition where it can. Future Smart Import will be explicit: Smart Drops are used only when RoamDrop uses cloud AI to turn screenshots into cards for you. Passport, ID and payment documents are not supported for AI import.

What data does RoamDrop store?

Your trips and documents are stored on your device by default. Optional cloud sync is coming later and will be opt-in. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is there a free version?

Yes. Manual planning and PDF export stay free. Smart Drops are planned for optional cloud AI actions that do the hard import work for you.
